Carl is the newest member of the Out Adventures’ family, acting as our digital marketing specialist. His nomadic nature has taken him around the globe where he’s experienced travel highs (A quiet sunrise atop Mt. Batur, Bali) and lows (Scabies. He’d rather not talk about it, thank you very much).
If you’re interested in joining Carl on an Out Adventure, you can find his 2019 departure schedule below.
Beginning in Budapest we’ll indulge in the city’s rich history, impressive architecture and famous Turkish baths. Not to mention, an exclusive backstage performance at the recently re-opened Budapest Opera House. Then it’s off to the Alpine Sweetheart, Slovenia where we’ll Glamp in the country’s verdant countryside. Lake Bled, Vogel Mountain and Goriška Brda will be highlights. We end the luxurious tour in Ljubljana, enjoying one of our favourite boutique hotels and devouring the city’s top restaurants (one of which is in Ljubljana Castle!).
Directly after Ljubljana, Carl (and Rob) are off to Croatia where the duo will board a private yacht with up to 37 gay men. Over 7 nights we’ll cruise Croatia’s stunning Dalmatia coast stopping for daily dips in the balmy Adriatic, docking at historic ports and enjoying the ship’s amenities such as a 10-person hot tub. Optional dinners at the country’s finest restaurants are an added bonus.
This cruise is already filling up! Call us ASAP to book your cabin. It’s also meant to go hand-in-hand with Budapest & Slovenia: Castles, Caves & Culinary Escapades.
Carl’s departure: Jul 19 – 27, 2019
Discover the Atlantic archipelago on an active adventure that hops between four islands. We’ll surmount the region’s tallest peak, enjoy a whale-watching tour and try our hand at standup paddle boarding on calderas (volcanic lakes). The unique fauna and flora will be on display daily as we trek the islands and wallow in their relatively unspoiled state.
A sumptuous journey through one of Europe’s oldest nations. We’ll wine and dine at the best restaurants in Porto, stomp grapes in the Douro Valley and explore the country’s largest food market in Lisbon.
